Summer Sayings

I know that I'm horrible at keeping this up.  I use different things these days like instagram, Facebook, etc.   I still try to keep up on this though every once in a while.  Just have some funny things people have said this summer.

At the pool with Payton and McKenna: So both of them were holding on to the end of a kick board and then Payton let go and McKenna went under water.  Anyway later McKenna said to Payton "You drowned me!" then Payton said something that made me and Kristin laugh.  He said "If you really drowned I would dive under water grab you and take you over to a life guard to do CPR!!"

Nicki.  I'm not sure if she really did this but I remember talking to her about it.  I was joking and said "You should change Bronson instead of your mom.  I bet she would love that!"  Then she told me "I did change Josh once." Me, "Was it fun?!? Her, "No" Me, "OK" Nicole, "Well it was kinda fun but not really" silence for two seconds.  Then she said "Fine I did like it but it was pee and my mom won't let me do it again!"  I'm kind of thinking if she really changed him or not but I really don't know.  I just think its funny how she was admitted liking it even though I wasn't making her say it.

Grandma was at my house and grandpa rang the doorbell and I said to grandma "My great uncle Mike's brother in law is here."

At the pool with Ali.  There was some bug that flew by Ali and was on her head for one second and I said "there's a bug on your head" and she freaked out.  I said I was just kidding because it flew away.  But it came back and landed on her forehead so I said again "There's a bug on your forehead." She didn't believe me though.  Until it bit her.  Then she believed me and flipped out.  She said "you should not have been kidding the first time so I would believe you."

Bronson on 4th of July told be not to call him Bronson, call him baby.  So I did but then he said "No! Bronson."

I kinda ran out of ideas.  There was way more but that's all I got in my mind at this time.  Also here is a video that everyone loved and would not stop laughing from...

Walkathon Week

2 weeks ago was the yearly Walkathon at my school.  The Walkathon is always on a Friday so the 4 days before we always have some dress up thing we do.  (Seen in the pictures below) So the PTA presidents for next year were trying to earn money for a new playground next year which of coarse makes all the 6th graders unhappy.  Mr. Hoff, my teacher, told us what ever table in the class earned the most money got to have an electronics day and a pig out party the same day, so my table was desperate to get money.  Each table had their own names.  My table was the 7 dwarfs cause there is 7 of us.  We all had our own dwarf name that fit our personalities and mine of coarse was bashful.  Anyway so here is the all the fun stuff we did that week.

Monday: Crazy Sock Day. (I also had some gum in my chair that day and sat in it)

 

 

Tuesday: Crazy Hat Day.

 

 

Wednesday: PJ day

 

Thursday: Crazy Hair Day.  Flower bouquet, I did it my self

 

 

Friday: Walkathon! It was also Uintah shirt/color day and we got our faces painted.

 

 

 

So the walkathon was fun and my table did earn the most money.  We had our electronics day and pig out party while the rest of the class had nothing else to do but work.  My class all together though has enough money for the Pizza Party, Ice Cream Party, and Extra Recces party.  I hope we get the grand prize though to Elite Gymnastics.  My 4th grade and 5th grade class got the grand prize both years so it would be fun to have it again.  I'm hoping we find out who gets the grand prize this week.  We also will get to throw pies at the principals face.  Oh and Adam only did PJ day and Uintah Shirt Day,  I never got a picture of the shirts. (Sorry the pictures are not the best quality, it was my iPod's camera.)



Picture Time

Science Fair

Back in December was the 6TH grade Science.  The 6TH grade science is diffrent the Kindergarten through 5TH grade beacuse we compete against 7TH and 8TH graders.  If you get a place then you move to the next level.  Well, Rossi and I got 2ND place in Physics and Math.  We wanted to see what kind of popcorn was the best by seeing how much kernels were in each bag.  We popped each bag 5 times.  Just so you know Orville Redenbacher is the best.

Thursday (Before Science Fair)
The Thursday before the fair we worked on our board.  The reason we made board again is because Marla, Rossi's mom, threw our board away.  The funny thing is that we found out that we were going on to the Next level that night of the Science Fair in December.  Both of our boards were cute so we didn't really care.

Monday, February 11 (Science Fair)
I had to go to school at 8:00 to catch the bus.  Since there were like 15 kids on the bus from Uintah we each got our own seat. We picked up another 15 kids at a different school.  The fair was at Weber State.  I felt small because it was a bunch of 7TH and 8TH graders.  We were all set up in the ballroom.  It took forever for us to get a judge to come.  We waited for about an hour.  During the hour the light flipped off for two seconds.  I said "It's the super bowl all over again!"  We finally got a judge and then two more.  When we were done being judged we were able to grab some food for lunch.  I went to Hogi Yogi.  The person who made my sandwich said that was the easiest sandwich I have ever made! 

The Science Fair was pretty fun.  Since we were never we checked in to school in the first place we got to get our work and leave 2 hours early.  I walked to Rossi's house which is across the street from my school.  I am glad that I went to the Science Fair.  It was fun to leave school for a day and eat Hogi Yogi which is closed down!  Its a really good place. 

Shakespeare

Every year the 6TH grade at my performs two Shakespeare plays.  Well now that I'm in 6TH grade I can be in a play.  The plays we will be doing are Mid Summer Nights Dream, and Macbeth.  Last week were auditions.  On Wednesday I tried out for a which and yesterday, Friday, I tried out for a pretty big part, Helena.  The ladies said I sure had Helena memorized.  When we auditioned we were in groups of 5 or 8 or something like that.  The people in my group said I did a pretty good job.  I still don't what part I will get or what play I will be in.  I'm kinda hoping it's a pretty good part though but you never know!! 

You have got to see!

I'm pretty sure most people have seen this video but it's hillarious!  This guy is in a coustume that makes him look invisible and he goes to a couple of drive thru's and pranks the workers there...

Eviromental Center

I had a very fun field trip this week and I wrote a report about it.  The report is down below...


On January 7TH and 8TH my class and Mrs. Donaldsons class went to the Envirmental Center for an overnight field trip.  I had so much fun!!

The bus ride there was a little long but we made it!  When we got off the bus Abby, Kordell, Brigham, and Gavin loaded all of our bags on the trailer.  After the trailer started up the one mile hill we started to go up it too.  I hated the way up!  When I finally made it up the hill I helped load bags off the trailer.  We left the bags in the garage and went inside.  Mrs. Donaldson told us all of the rules.  She then let us grap our bags and go into our dorm to pick a bed and unpack a little.  I had a top bunk on the side and slept next to Rossi and she was next to Abby who was next to Kacee.  The teachers called up back into the main room.  Every single kid there had a job.  I was a Suction Reduction wich ment I had to vacume.  It was a pretty easy job.

Before lunch we watched a video about hypothermia.  Next Mrs. Donaldson showed us how to use our skies and how to ski.  Many people have never been cross country skiing before so it was new to a lot of people.  Before we went skiing we had pizza for lunch.  It was ok.  We then went to Put on all of our ski clothes and shoes.  It took me awhile to find the right size.

When I got outside I got my skis, put them on, skied away.  I was doing ok untill I lost my balance and fell.  I fell a couple times.  A lot of people passed me.  I was now with the slow group.  Mr. Hoff was with us and helped us ski.  I was pretty much with Kacee the whole time.  The two of us got better and lost that group behind.  We skied up a really long hill.  When we got to the top of it, there was a really steep hill down.  I could not get down it without falling, so I took off my skis and walked it.  I finally made it to the top where everyone else was.  We had to start down the hill again. I walked for awhile untill I got to that hill that took me forever to get up.  You could just glide down that hill with out doing any work.  Mrs. Donaldson and I talked while going down the hill.  For about the last half an hour Kacee and I skied with the princapal, Mr. Karlinsey.  At about 4:30 I got back to the shed where all the skis where so I turned them in and headed to the lodge.

When I got inside the lodge Mrs. Critchley told us to take off all of our ski clothes and get comfy, so I changed into my PJ's!  Most of the girls were in the dorm talking, singing, playing games, etc.  So I hung out and talked with my friends before dinner.  Dinner was Orange Chicken and it was awfull!  After dinner it was my turn to do my job and vacume!

When everything was all cleaned up we learned how to boondogal.  It took me forever to get how to do it, but I finnally did!  When everyone new how to boondogal the teachers sent us back in the dorms to boondogal.  When the teachers called us back in the main room to play a game there was a bunch of chairs in a circle so we could play, do you like your neighbor.  It was so fun.  The next game was was, name that tune, but we had teams and crabwalked backwards if we knew what song it was.  I don't remeber what team won.  After all the games it was probably about 10:30.  Mrs. Donaldson said "Wich ever dorm is quieter gets more treats for the movie!"  The girls won!  I piled up on treats!  The movie we wached was "Space Camp."  I got confused!  When the movie finished we had 5 minutes to clean up, brush teeth, go to the bathroom, etc.  Lots of girls were whispering when the lights were out.  I think it was about 12:30 A.M. when we went to bed!  I woke up in the middle of the night and Rossi was on Abby's bed and then she got up and got a drink.  Rossi did not rememer this!

I woke up at about 7:30 and got up at 8:00.  I thought it would be a good idea to pack up so I did.  Breakfast was odd.  It was pancakes in a bag!!  The yogurt expired and looked bad.  After breakfast I had to vacume the girls dorm.  I also got ready for skiing again.  When I finished all this I went outside and grabed my skis and poles.

I was a lot better at skiing the second day.  I only fell once going up!  Kacee walked next to me as I skied.  Up hill was terrible!  Down hill was a lot better!  I didn't fall on the way down like the first day!

Lunch was chicken nuggets and were not good.  I had to vacume one more time and because of that I had to fun down the hill with three other people, Ryker, Gavin, and Kylee.  Mrs. Critchley chased us with her car so we had to run down to the bus!!

I had very fun at the Envirmental Center and want to go again.  Best field trip ever!


Ok that was my report.  Only two classes went at a time but all four teachers went but Mrs. Stubbs left early.  There were two dorms.  One for boys and one for girls.  The boys found a dead rat and an iPod touch!!  Nice...
